Dog fouling causing big problems in Clonmel

The issue of dog-fouling was once again to the fore at this months meeting of Clonmel Borough District.

Two notices of motion were before the authority calling for additional signage and bins to be provided to encourage dog owners to act responsibly and for a media campaign in a bid to raise awareness of the problem.

Independent representative Andy Moloney has come up with an idea which might tackle both fouling and licensing issues.
