It was a tough day for Tipperary teams in the FAI Junior Cup 4th round yesterday.
Four teams from the Premier county were in action in the last 64 of the national competition.
Peake Villa made the long trip to Donegal but suffered a 3-0 defeat to Letterkenny Rangers.
Cahir Park travelled to Limerick to take on Janesboro, with the city side coming away with the 3-1 victory.
Rearcross had the difficult task of hosting last season’s winners Cockhill Celtic and it was the Donegal side who were 6-0 winners.
Meanwhile, Nenagh AFC lost their matchup against Evergreens, the result came after penalties when the match finished 3-3 at extra time.
Elsewhere, St. Michael’s, the last tipperary team left in the FAI junior cup, discovered their opponents for the last 64.
The Tipp Town side will play Mount Merrion, that’s after the Dublin side were 3-0 winners over Mullingar Athletic.
