Despite possible ban Davy unrepentant for pitch invasion

Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald faces the prospect of an eight-week sideline ban after clashing with several Tipperary players during yesterday’s Allianz Hurling League semi-final.

Such an offence carries an eight-week ban – if the incident is included in the match report.

That would mean Fitzgerald would be barred from the sidelines for their Leinster quarter-final against a round-robin qualifier, but the ban would expire the night before a potential semi-final with Kilkenny.
