Tipperary forward Darragh McCarthy has received a one-match suspension..
The Toomevara man was sent off in the opening minute of last weekend’s Munster senior hurling championship encounter with Cork in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The 19-year-old was judged to have struck Cork cornerback Séan O’Donoghue, with referee Johnny Murphy deeming it to be a category 3 offence consisting of minimal force.
This means McCarthy will miss Tipperary’s game against Clare in Ennis on May 10th but will be available for selection for the Premier’s final round robin game against Waterford in Thurles on May 18th.
