Sport GAA Hurling

A three way tie at the top of Group 3 in the County Senior Hurling championship means there’ll have to be a play-off.

Following Drom and Inch’s win over tournament favourites, Thurles Sarsfields, last night both teams are now tied with Upperchurch Drombane in their group.

Due to Carrick Swans conceding their match against Sars in April, points difference cannot be used to separate the teams.

The first of the playoffs will go ahead next Tuesday, with Drom and Inch going up against Upperchurch Drombane in Templetuohy.
