Tipperary County Council’s Horse control measures are being slammed as ineffective.

A horse was found wandering in Littleton last Sunday morning while a taxi driver had 2-thousand Euro worth of damage caused to his cab after a run-in with horses, while carrying a passenger, over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

There were no injuries but it’s feared there could be if something like this happened again.

Cllr Sean Ryan says current measures are simply not working and the local authority and the Gardai need to get tougher on this issue.
