Tipperary County Council has successfully bid for a number of historic documents.
The document in question cover the years directly after the Siege of Clonmel by Oliver Cromwell, and are older than any documents currently held by County Archivists.

They went under the hammer in White’s of Dublin over the weekend.
Councillor Michael Murphy feels acquiring these is a huge boost for the County.
