Consultants appointed to assess traffic problems in Tipperary village

Consultants are being appointed to assess potential traffic problems in the Ragg village near Thurles.

Tipperary County Council are undertaking the move after repeated calls for action by councillors, including independent Jim Ryan.

The plans will focus on ways to reduce the speed of vehicles travelling through the village, but any subsequent works would still be subject to securing funding.
