Motorists in the North of the County are being adcvised to drive with extreme care this morning following snow showers this morning.
Conditions on the M7 are said to be especially treacherous.

Gardai are advising extreme caution on the motorway between J16 Portlaoise East and J23 Moneygall, following sleet and snow showers in the area.
Emergency services are dealing with a crash southbound between J21 Borris In Ossory and J23.
Gardai in Nenagh are saying the Northbound lanes are especially slippery but say that motorists travelling in both directions need to slow down and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
