Clubs are dying on their feet, according to a former inter-county manager.
Former Waterford and Westmeath manager Michael Ryan says players get involved in sport to play matches – not to train without matches for months.

He feels the club player is being left behind, as club championships are stalled for the duration of the inter-county season.
