The county football championships get underway this evening.

There’s three games down for decision across the intermediate grade and the new premier junior grade.

In the second tier, Thurles Sarsfields meet Golden-Kilfeacle in Annacarty at 7.15pm.

Also at 7.15pm, the inaugural premier junior football county championship gets underway with Cashel King Cormacs meeting Father Sheehy’s with a change of venue from Cahir to Ned Hall Park in Clonmel

Moyle Rovers and JK Brackens go head-to-head in Holycross.
