This Saturday, Clonmel welcome Cork side Dolphin to Ardghaoithe for their 2.30pm kick-off.

Speaking on Extra-Time, Clonmel first team manager Joe Winston says the win over Tullamore was just what they needed after their opening round defeat:

“If we had lost that again on Saturday then all you’d hear about is relegation and worry and fear about that whereas you win your home game and now we’re home again next Saturday against Dolphin.

“So win again in that one although it will be tough as they have come down from Division 2B.

“We’re improving year on year so I would be quite hopeful against Dolphin on Saturday.”
