Clonmel Gardaí are commencing proceedings after discovering green diesel.
On Wednesday Gardaí in the town conducted a joint checkpoint alongside Revenues Customs & Excise Division.

One vehicle was found using marked gas oil or green diesel and proceedings have already begun.
In the same operation another vehicle was seized for having no display of tax in excess of 600 days.
In this case a fixed charge penalty has been issued.
