Clonmel boxer will stick around to give Olympic qualifier a go

Clonmel boxer Dean Gardiner says he’s disappointed the Olympics has been cancelled as he was in the shape of his life.

The Super Heavyweight Irish champion was in London last week for the European qualifiers when his fight was postponed due to the coronavirus.

Gardiner says he’ll stick around to give the qualifiers a go when the International Olympic Committee give the go ahead.
