It was heartbreak for Roscrea’s Cistertian College as lost out on a place in the semi final of the Leinster Senior Schools Rugby Cup, following defeat at the quarter final stages yesterday.
Dublin’s St Mary’s looked to be well ahead heading into the second half of the encounter – but Roscrea clawed back two tries in the closing stages.

However, it wasn’t to be for the North Tipp School, who lost out on a scoreline of 32 points to 29.
