CCC: 3-way play off the only option

The Tipperary County Board say their hands are tied when it comes to deciding the outcome of Group 3 of the County senior hurling championship.

Thurles Sarsfields, Drom & Inch and Upperchurch Drombane finished all square at the top of the group.

However scoring difference can’t be used to separate the sides as Sars had a walkover against Carrick Swans early in the campaign.

Speaking on last nights Extra Time here on Tipp FM Competition Controls Committee Secretary Tom Maher said the rules don’t allow them to have that game played now.
