Care urged on Tipp roads across Bank Holiday weekend

Senior Tipperary Gardai are urging drivers to take their foot of the accelerator, be observant and patient on our roads this Bank Holiday.

There will be a huge volume of people out and about over the coming days, heading away for a mini break, taking part in a number of cycling competitions as well as a large number of agricultural vehicles as farmers take advantage of the fine weather.

Gardai are warning there will be increased checkpoints looking out for speed, non wearing of seatbelts as we as drink and drug driving.
