Car stopped by Gardaí for having no tax for almost a year

A North Tipperary motorist will be facing a court appearance after they were found to have been driving without tax for almost a year.

Gardaí in Nenagh stopped a vehicle and inspected the car, discovering a fake tax disc on display.

Tax had expired more than 300 days ago and the vehicle was not insured and didn’t have a valid NCT.

The car was seized and the driver will be going to court.
