Members of the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit clocked a motorist travelling at 163 kilometre per hour on the M8 yesterday.
The driver was a learner permit holder and was driving unaccompanied.

The Garda Mobility App indicated that the insurance policy on the vehicle was inactive.
The car was seized and court proceedings have commenced against the driver.
