Fresh calls for an updated Traffic Management Plan for Thurles have been met with a less than lukewarm reception.
Issues surrounding parking and congestion in the Mid Tipp Town were once again raised during this month’s meeting of the local municipal district which also heard that contracts for long awaited works on Slievenamon Road on the N62 are set to go out to tender.

But Clr Jim Ryan feels that the overall managment of traffic must be looked at now ..
