A Thurles Councillor has raised the possibility of rerouting funding for Liberty Square to other local projects.
The town’s iconic centre is due to undergo an eight million euro redevelopment.

However, Cllr David Doran says that people have asked him to question the value of that investment in light of the proposed move on the Post Office from the square.
