Calls for additional outdoor staff to help with roads

Calls have been made for additional outdoor council staff to deal with the state of the county’s roads.

It comes as councillors at this month’s Nenagh Municipal District meeting outlined issues with some roads in the district.

Director of Services for Roads Marcus O’ Connor has confirmed that while some cuts had to be made in recent years, additional permenant and seasonal staff will be taken on shortly.
