Tipperary hurling great Ken Hogan believes Seamus Callanan’s availability for the Championship opener will come “down to the wire”.

The Drom & Inch full forward fractured his thumb in Sunday’s semi-final win over Wexford which rules him out of next Sunday’s League Final over Galway at the Gaelic Grounds.

Cork’s Colm Lyons will referee this Sunday’s league final.

The match will be the second part of a double header that also includes the Littlewoods Camogie league final between Cork and Kilkenny.
