Kicking off this evening the annual event promises three days of craic and ceoil in the town.
The official Trad Fest launch in Cahir House Hotel at 7pm will get a weekend of free traditional music concerts and sessions underway.

Organiser Mary Harty says a series of workshops from 10- 1 on Saturday morning will be of special interest to local musicians.
