Paul Curran believes Tipperary will relish the opportunity of playing in an All-Ireland semi-final this weekend.
Kilkenny are the Premier’s opponents on Sunday at 4pm in Croke Park.
Excitement is building around the county ahead of the game, particularly around the Tipperary-Kilkenny border.
Speaking on Extra-Time, two-time All-Star and Mullinahone club man Paul Curran says there’s a great buzz around the area:
“Just even around Mullinahone the game is generating an awful lot of excitement, you can see the flags going up and people are talking about it, people are looking forward to it and people are going up to follow the team so I am really looking forward to Sunday.
“If you’d asked at the start of the year would we expect to get here, no, so it’s been a really successful year for this team.
“Now it’s another big opportunity for them to showcase what they can do so I’m sure they will relish the opportunity.”
Sunday’s game is live here on Tipp FM with thanks to The Arch Bar & De Faoite Restaurant, Liberty Square, Thurles.
