Browne and Morris in running for U21 Player of the Year

Nine Tipperary players have been shortlisted for the Under 21 Team of the Year.

The All Ireland Champions were pipped by Munster Champions Cork who have 11 on the list.

The 45 man shortlist includes Tipp goalkeeper Barry Hogan, full-back Brian McGrath, left corner back Killian O’Dwyer, centre back Robert Byrne, left back Dylan Quirke, midfielder Ger Browne, centre forward Jerome Cahill, right corner forward Jake Morris and full forward Mark Kehoe.

Ger Browne and Jake Morris have also been nominated for the Under 21 player of the year alongside Galway’s Fintan Burke and Cork’s Mark Coleman.

The winners will be announced in October.
