Boundary changes cause funding issue in Carrick on Suir

Concerns have been raised about changes to Tipperary’s municipal district boundaries impacting on funding for organisations.

A group that had been in the Carrick on Suir Municipal District prior to May of this year had a successful application for €1,200 in funding.

However, they are now outside in a different district, despite funding being granted.

Cllr Kieran Bourke raised his concerns during this month’s district meeting.
