Borrisokane traders unhappy with condition of town

Businesses in Borrisokane say they have been let down by Tipperary County Council.

The failure of the local authority to carry out much needed works on the N52/N65 through the North Tipp town has come in for renewed criticism lately.

The local authority says it won’t be carrying out any re-surfacing work because a major project is due to be done by Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

Local pharmacist Dermot McDermott says businesses in the town are suffering due to the council’s failure to deliver on its promises.
