Plans for a major overhaul of the road surface on Borrisokane’s main street have been given the green light
The local authority has agreed proposals to carry out major works on the road surface which has deteriorated significantly in recent years.

It’s a particular problem for articulated trucks and other heavy goods vehicles that use the route but because it’s a main National route- the N65/N52 – it comes under the remit of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, formerly the NRA.
