A boil water notice is still in effect for 600 local homes and businesses on the Horse and Jockey Public Supply in Mid-Tipp.
Uisce Eireann says it is working on the issues but it is still not safe to lift the notice which has been in effect now for over 6 weeks.
The utility says it was issued due to increased turbidity in the raw water source.
Uisce Eireann says providing alternative water supplies would not be any benefit for residents because the advice is that water from tankers would still need to be boiled to ensure it is safe to drink.
A boil water notice put in effect on the same days for 6-thousand homes and business in the Carrick-on-suir area was lifted last week.
