The age profile on the Tipperary senior hurling panel will stand to them, according to Brendan Maher.

While there have been a number of high profile retirements in the Premier in recent years, it means the panel are now all under the age of 30.

The young players will have a chance to bid for a starting spot in this years’ league during tomorrow’s challenge game with Liam Mellows of Galway.

With both youth and experience on their side; Brendan Maher says it’s about making sure they get the best out of the panel.
