UPDATE: The incident has now been dealt with and crews have returned to base

Fire crews are at the scene of a fire at a vacant building in Cahir this morning.

The alarm was raised at around 5.15 when the blaze was spotted at the former Castle Court Hotel in the town.

Two units are at the scene on Church Street.

The cause of the blaze is not known at this stage.
