Barry Coffey signs new short term deal with Cork City

Barry Coffey is staying with Cork City.

The Nenagh native’s loan spell with City came to an end last month, as did his contract with Celtic in Scotland.

The 21-year-old midfielder has scored six league goals this season and has signed on to stay in Cork until the end of the season.

Cork City currently sit on top of the First Division, four points ahead of Galway United with 12 games remaining.
