A dozen motorists are facing prosecution after they were caught drink-driving by Gardaí in Tipperary over the Bank Holiday weekend.

65 mandatory alcohol checkpoints were mounted in the Division over the weekend

Meanwhile Gardaí are warning people not to use illegal hackneys which are operating in a number of areas across the county.
