Two Tipperary ladies footballers have been named to Higher Education Championship teams of the year.

Aherlow’s Emma Morrissey has been named at full forward in the All-Star fifteen following her performances with UCC, who were beaten by DCU in the O’Connor Cup final.

Meanwhile, another Tipperary player has been named to the Rising Stars team.

Fethard’s Heather Spillane has been named at centre back on the team for her performances for TUS Midwest.
