A Tipperary woman has been recognised for her sporting abilities at the Zurich Irish Rugby Players Awards ceremony.

Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe, who’s from Tipp town, was awarded the Women’s 7s Player of the Year accolade.

The prolific try scorer, who captained Ireland at the Canada Sevens last weekend, has won the award for the third time.
