Almost 20% of all patients on trollies are in Hospitals serving Tipp

Almost 1 in 5 patients on trollies nationally today are in hospitals serving Tipperary.

281 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country, with 19 on trolleys or overflow wards at South Tipp General Hospital and 36 in Limerick which is the most overcrowded according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Naas General Hospital is next with 28 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards.
