There are 91 patients on trolleys in hospitals serving Tipperary this afternoon.
University Hospital Limerick, which serves North Tipp, is even busier than yesterday – with 60 people waiting for a bed today, that’s up from 56 yesterday.

South Tipp General in Colmel is also busier than yesterday with 31 patients being cered for in trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of already full wards.
Nationally, there are 520 people waiting for a bed, that’s an increase of 27% on the same day last year when there were 409 patients on trolleys.
