It’s another busy start to the week for frontline staff at the main hospital serving North Tipperary.
According to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are no beds for 92 people who have been admitted to University Hospital Limerick.

They are among 420 at medical facilities across the country who find themselves in a similar situation today – that’s up from 346 this day last week.
UHL is by far the most overcrowded hospital with University Hospital Galway next in line with 41 patients on trolleys.
The nursing union reports no overcrowding issues at either TUH in Clonmel or Nenagh Hospital this afternoon.
