It’s a busy start to the week for frontline staff at University Hospital Limerick.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 80 people who have been admitted to the facility which covers North Tipperary do not have a bed today.

They are among 462 in a similar situation at hospitals across the country.
This includes 19 on trollies at TUH in Clonmel.
