More than 500 patients without beds in Irish hospitals today

534 patients are waiting for hospital beds around the country today.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 88 patients according to the INMO followed by Cork University Hospital with 49.

TUH in Clonmel – which serves South Tipp – has 13 people on trolleys due to a lack of available beds.

The nursing union is reporting three patients without a bed at Nenagh Hospital.
