There are over 50 patients waiting for a bed today in hospitals serving the Tipperary region.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is reporting that there are 30 people waiting at University Hospital Limerick and 25 at South Tipp General in Clonmel.
University Hospital Galway is themost overcrowded in the country, with 47 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards.
That’s followed by Cork University Hospital with 35 people in need of a bed.
In all there are 456 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.
