Over 400 people on trolleys in hospitals around the country

The number of people on hospital trolleys in Ireland has exceeded 400 for the fifth day this month.

According to the INMO, there are 409 people waiting for hospital beds across the country this afternoon – the worst affected is University Hospital Limerick with 62, followed by Cork University Hospital with 58.

Further south, there are six people waiting for a bed at Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel this afternoon.
