Businesses large and small from the north, south, east and west of County Tipperary have entered County Tipperary Business awards.
The awards – which are backed by County Tipperary Chamber, ABP, LIT and Tipp FM – have been whittled down to just three nominees in each category.
The 14 different categories cover everything from start-ups to long established major employers in the Premier.
Morrison BMW in Cahir and the Thurles duo of Cantwell Engineering & PWM Engineering have been shortlisted in the Family Business category.
The Best Retail nominees include Clonmel based Red Nose Wine, Shanahan’s Centra in Borrisoleigh and Stakelum’s Home & Hardware in Thurles.
MSD, Boston Scientific and Eistec have made the cut for Best Large Company while SME’s Clonmel Healthcare, Ryan’s Cleaning and Jamie Lawlor Crash Repairs are in with a shout in their category.
The Social Enterprise nominees include two Tipp town based groups – the Knockanrawley Resource Centre & Irish Wheelchair Association – along with the Tipperary Energy Agency from Cahir.
