There’s plenty of Tipperary involvement in the top tier of this year’s Higher Education hurling competition.
The Fitzgibbon Cup gets underway next week with 33 players from Tipperary representing 9 colleges.
10 of those will be lining out for TUS Midwest including Tipp panelists Sean Kenneally and Stephen Walsh.
Gearóid O’Connor and Michael Corcoran are among five Tipp players representing UL whilst last year’s champions Mary Immaculate College have seven Tipp players in their ranks including Holycross/Ballycahill duo Joe Caesar and Eoin Craddock whilst last year’s Munster U20 winning captain Ben Currivan is also a part of the Limerick side.
