Three Tipperary Oireachtas members have a 100% record of attending sittings this year.

Two TDs and one Senator clocked in for every sitting since January.

TDs and Senators use an electronic fob to check in when they attend sittings at Leinster House.

Figures show Clonmel Independent TD Seamus Healy and Fianna Fail’s Jackie Cahill from Thurles have been in the chamber for each of the 66 days the Dáil has sat since January.

Labour’s Alan Kelly from Portroe has missed just one day while Newcastle based Independent Mattie McGrath has missed 2.

Thurles Independent Michael Lowry has the poorest attendance record of Tipperary’s 5 TDs at 55.

The attendance records are used to validate a deputy’s travel and accommodation Dáil allowances.

These figures can be reconciled at the end of the year if the Oireachtas member attended any sittings but forgot their fob.

Carrick on Suir Labour representative Denis Landy was one of only 2 Senators to attend all 51 sittings of the Upper House.
