Two dogs to be put down after Tipperary postman seriously injured in attack

The dogs involved in an attack on postman in Tipperary last week are to be put down.

Gardaí confirmed to TippFM News on Saturday that they were investigating the incident in Kilcommon last Thursday which left a man in his 60s in hospital.

He remains in hospital at UHL where he’s being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí say that arrangements are being made for the destruction of two dogs.

However they’ve confirmed that neither are restricted breeds.
