A new intake of recruits is going into the Garda Training College in Templemore today.
149 new Gardai graduated last Friday but 200 prospects are going in today.

It’s expected that there will be another 3 intakes of about 200 trainees later this year as efforts continue to increase Garda numbers.
Speaking to TippFM News in Templemore last Friday the Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan has confirmed he’s looking into starting a second training College elsewhere in the country.
