Work continues to clear debris from Carrick mart

Work is continuing to clear the debris from the Carrick on Suir Mart site following last months devastating fire.

The premises on John’s Street was badly hit by the blaze on April 16th.

Local businesses and residents as well as neighbouring marts have rowed in with offers of help.

Work is underway to remove the remains of the roof structure.

However Director of Livestock sales John Curran says this is taking longer than expected
