670 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country today.
INMO figures show University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 90 patients on trolleys.

That’s followed by 74 at Cork University Hospital, and 56 at University Hospital Galway.
There are no beds for 21 people who have been admitted to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel while the nursing union reports no overcrowding at Nenagh Hospital today.
